Tesla's frunk is brilliant—until you load a box with a hard corner. The thin aluminum hood deforms under concentrated pressure, leaving permanent bulges visible from outside. Current liners help, but nothing truly protects the hood from internal impacts.

Is FrunkVault one solid piece?
Core and Signature use a modular multi-panel design — precision segments that install together as one protection system. This lets each panel match the hood's compound curves exactly and means individual segments are replaceable. A single-piece flagship, the FrunkVault One-Piece, is planned for a future production run.
Will FrunkVault affect my Tesla warranty?
No. FrunkVault is a removable, non-structural accessory secured with 3M™ Dual Lock fasteners. No drilling, no permanent modifications, and it isn't integrated into any crash systems.
Will FrunkVault fit my Model Y?
Current FrunkVault products fit only the redesigned Tesla Model Y (often called "Juniper") and Model YL. They do not fit the earlier, pre-refresh/Legacy Model Y or any Model 3, including Model 3 Highland. Fitment is based on vehicle generation, not model year alone; please contact us before ordering if you are unsure which generation you have.
How long does installation take?
